The resort that inspired Dirty Dancing

I saw it on Instagram all the time, when I found out it wasn’t far from NYC I had to go. Otto and I explore Grossinger's Resort, abandoned since the mid 80s and was the inspiration for the resort in the classic movie Dirty Dancing.

Getting into the resort area is pretty easy, its not gated all the way around. We didn't see trespassing signs until we were leaving, there was one and it was very small.

I would love to return sometime soon to further explore the grounds and perhaps find the outdoor pool.

It was such an amazing experience.
